Automatically stored data
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages collects and stores information automatically in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. This includes:
Date and time of the request
Name of the requested file
Page from which the file was requested
Access status (file transmitted, file not found, etc.)
Used web browser and used operating system
Complete IP address of the requesting computer
Amount of data transmitted
Merging this data with other data sources is not carried out. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, especially to defend against attack attempts on our web server, this data is stored temporarily. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons based on this data. After a maximum of seven days, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user. In anonymized form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; a comparison with other data records or transfer to third parties, even in excerpts, does not take place. Only within the scope of our server statistics, which we publish in our activity report every two years, is a representation of the number of page views made.
Cookies
When you visit our websites, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier for the cookie. It consists of a string that allows websites and servers to be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie is stored. This enables the visited websites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the affected person from other internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified based on the unique cookie ID.
By using session cookies, the responsible party can provide users of this website with a user-friendly service that would not be possible without the setting of cookies. Without your consent, we only use technically necessary cookies on the basis of legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
We only use personal cookies to improve our website or for marketing/advertising purposes with your consent. On your first visit, you can voluntarily agree to tracking or analysis via the cookie banner that appears. Your data may be shared with partners or third-party providers. Only if you explicitly consent will these cookies be stored; the legal basis will then be your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Mailchimp
This website uses the services of Mailchimp for sending newsletters. The provider is the Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
Mailchimp is a service that can be used to organize and analyze the dispatch of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to a newsletter (e.g., email address), this data will be stored on Mailchimp's servers in the USA.
With the help of Mailchimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent via Mailchimp, a file contained in the email (so-called web beacon) connects to Mailchimp servers in the USA. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links may have been clicked. Technical information is also collected (e.g., time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used solely for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not want Mailchimp to analyze, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in each newsletter message. The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you have provided for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter with us or with the newsletter service provider and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing. Data stored with us for other purposes will remain unaffected.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.
Details can be found here: https://mailchimp.com/eu-us-data-transfer-statement/ and
https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processingaddendum/#Annex_C__Standard_Contractual_Clauses.
After your unsubscription from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in fulfilling the legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). The storage in the blacklist is not time-limited. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.
You can find further information in Mailchimp's privacy policy at:

We have concluded a contract for order processing (AV) according to Art. 28 DSGVO with the above-mentioned provider. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures that this provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use "Google reCAPTCHA" (hereinafter referred to as "reCAPTCHA") on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With reCAPTCHA, it is intended to verify whether the data entry on this website (e.g., in a contact form) is made by a human or an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various features. This
analysis begins automatically when the website visitor enters the website. To analyze
reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, duration of the stay of the website visitor on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
The storage and analysis of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and spam. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and 25 para. 1 TTDSG, as far as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) in the sense of TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
More information about Google reCAPTCHA can be found in Google’s privacy policy and terms of use at the following links:

Right to correction:
If we process your data that is incomplete or incorrect, you can request at any time the correction or completion of this data from us.
Right to deletion:
You can request the deletion of your data from us, provided we process it unlawfully or the processing is disproportionate to your legitimate protective interests. Please note that there may be reasons that prevent immediate deletion, e.g., in the case of legally regulated retention obligations.

– you have lodged an objection to the processing of the data.
Right to data portability:
You can request that we provide you with your data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and that you can transmit this data to another controller without being hindered by us, provided
– we process this data based on a consent you have given and can revoke or to fulfill a contract between us, and
– this processing is carried out using automated procedures.
Subject to technical feasibility, you can request us to transmit your data directly to another controller.
Right to object:
If we process your data based on legitimate interest, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. You can object at any time, without giving reasons, to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing.
Right to complain:
If you believe that we are violating German or European data protection law while processing your data, we ask you to contact us so that we can clarify questions. You also have the right to contact the supervisory authority responsible for you, the respective state office for data protection supervision.
